Privacy Policy
Effective November 5, 2026
This policy explains what information QSquared LLC ("AmusiCoLab", "we", "us") collects when you use AmusiCoLab, how we use it, and the choices you have. It's part of our Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: email address, password (stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text), account type (artist or fan), name and handle.
- Profile details: bio, city, talents, genres and whether you're open to collabs. These are public.
- Live content: the video and audio you stream, session titles, and chat messages. Live streams and chat are public while they happen.
- Recordings: every live is recorded for replays and clips, and replays are kept for about 14 days. Clips made from them stay until they're removed.
- Collab activity: collab requests, stage invites, Platinum crash requests, votes on collab suggestions, and follows.
- Other platforms: the server addresses and stream keys you add for streaming elsewhere. Stream keys are stored on our server and never shown back to you or anyone else.
- Artist payouts: if you set up payouts, Stripe collects your identity, tax and bank details directly. We receive your Stripe account ID and whether payouts are enabled, not your bank or tax numbers.
- Concert tickets: which concerts you have tickets or RSVPs for. The concert's host can see the handles of people who are coming, but not their email or payment details.
- Payments: when you buy a plan or extra, Stripe collects your payment details. We receive your Stripe customer ID, what you bought, the amount and subscription status. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Messages to us: anything you send to qsquaredmg@gmail.com.
Information collected automatically
- A login cookie that keeps you signed in, and a short-lived cookie that remembers who invited you. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and request logs, used for security, rate limits and fixing problems.
- Activity on AmusiCoLab, such as when you were last online (shown as "online now"), viewer counts, clip views and downloads, and lives you've completed. These are used for features like Platinum eligibility and discovery.
- Your browser may store small preferences locally, such as your chat name.
2. How we use it
- To run AmusiCoLab: accounts, live streaming, replays, clips, chat, collabs, notifications and streaming to other platforms.
- To process payments, apply your plan and collab credits, and check Platinum eligibility.
- To keep the Service safe: preventing spam and abuse, enforcing our terms, and protecting accounts.
- To improve AmusiCoLab and understand which features artists and fans use.
- To contact you about your account, purchases, and important changes. We'll only send marketing email if you agree to it, and you can opt out any time.
- To promote artists and the Service using public content, as described in our Terms.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Who we share it with
- Everyone, by design: your public profile, live streams, chat messages, replays, clips and collab suggestions that include you.
- Service providers that help us run AmusiCoLab, under contracts that limit their use of your data:
- Railway (hosting and storage)
- LiveKit (real-time video for the collab stage)
- Stripe (payments)
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which deliver fonts and the video player code and see your IP address when your browser loads them
- Other platforms you choose when you stream to them.
- Legal and safety: when required by law or valid legal process, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or AmusiCoLab. This includes reporting child sexual abuse material to the authorities.
- Business changes: if AmusiCoLab is sold, merged or reorganized, your information may transfer to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy.
4. How long we keep it
- Account information: kept while your account is open.
- Replays: about 14 days.
- Clips and chat: kept until they're removed or the account is deleted, except for copies others have already shared.
- Payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal reasons.
5. Your choices and rights
- In Settings: edit your profile, turn collab requests off, remove streaming destinations, and reset your stream key.
- Billing: manage or cancel it through Settings → Plan & billing.
- By email: to access, correct, download or delete your information, email qsquaredmg@gmail.com from your account's email address. We'll respond within 30 days, and may need to verify it's you.
Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states with privacy laws, the UK or the European Economic Area), you may have additional rights. These can include knowing what we collect, deleting or correcting it, objecting to or limiting certain uses, and not being treated differently for using these rights. Email us to use them, or to appeal a decision we've made about a request.
6. Children
AmusiCoLab isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, email qsquaredmg@gmail.com and we'll delete it. Users aged 13 to 17 need a parent's or guardian's permission.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information:
- encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- hashed passwords
- private stream keys
- limits on login attempts
- access controls on our systems
No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep your stream key private.
8. International users
AmusiCoLab is run from the United States, and your information is stored and processed in the US and wherever our service providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information will be transferred there.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we'll let you know on the site or by email before it takes effect.
